Dave Coop is the founder and lead trainer at "The Canine College by Dave Coop, LLC," His focus is on corrective, obedience and protection dog training specifically designed to meet the client’s needs. A Colorado native, Dave possesses more than 30 years of full-time, real-world experience in professional dog training in the Denver metro area. As a Senior Master dog trainer, he’s a seasoned expert in training everyone from the novice to the professional about how to work with dogs.
Dave is highly regarded in the Colorado veterinary community. In 1987, Coop founded Denver's first K-9 arson detection and children's school safety programs, in coordination with the Cunningham fire district. His commitment to people and their dogs includes experience as a guard dog handler, as well as an operations manager and shareholder in the Colorado Dog Academy in the early 1980s.
